Fred Donatelli & Son Cemetery Memorials was established by Fred Donatelli Sr. in 1965 on the North Side of Pittsburgh and in 1967, we moved to our current location on Cemetery Lane. We have grown substantially over the years to offer the area’s largest inventory of monuments, in a wide variety of sizes, colors and designs. We have over 200 choices in our indoor showrooms and more selections in our extensive patio and lawn display. Choose from a variety of upright memorials and private mausoleums. Our quality selections are engraved and installed to your complete satisfaction on site. We are proud to offer you the experience and service of four generations, dedicated to providing distinctive memorials in many Western Pennsylvania cemeteries. Fred Donatelli also owns and operates Pittsburgh Cremation Service, which has been privately serving the funeral home industry throughout Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia since 1974. We know the importance of proper and respectful service and we have a solid reputation of doing our job well. We are proud of the fact that Pittsburgh Cremation Service processes all cremations safely and efficiently. Our operators are fully certified by Cremation Association of North America (CANA). Furthermore, Pittsburgh Cremation Service has been a training center for students from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (PIMS) for the past twenty (20) years, a model for learning the proper methods of cremation service.

The most recent addition to our family of businesses is OakCrest Pet Crematory, opened for operation in early 2005. This business offers direct and private cremation to the general public for beloved pets — handled individually with respect and care. OakCrest Pet Crematory offerings include same day memorialization, convenient hours, a comfortable waiting room on site, a certified certificate of cremation, competitive fees, transportation service and a wide selection of urns, caskets and markers available for purchase. OakCrest Pet Crematory is a member of the The International Association of Pet Crematories and Cemeteries (IAOPCC).

Together, these three companies demonstrate the commitment and investment that Fred Donatelli has made over the years to the memorial industry. Many family members have worked — and continue to work in the business — providing a livelihood and a strong work ethic among eight (8) children and twenty-two (22) grandchildren, most who continue to work and live in Western Pennsylvania.
