PIMS Partnership Fosters Student Learning

Students from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science (PIMS) will be spending time every quarter on site at the Fred Donatelli Family of Companies. After opening comments from Fred R. Donatelli, pictured here, who also serves on the PIMS Board, the students will tour the facility and have the opportunity to ask questions and observe firsthand all elements of the memorialization process. Gene Ogrodnik, President and CEO of PIMS, makes the trip with each class. The visit is always valuable for the students, as it gives them the opportunity to observe “real” family issues, memorialization challenges and the latest technological advances in the industry. www.pims.edu
